Korea

Well, I'm in South Korea right now. I've been touring around Seoul for a week with my choir, and now I'm heading to Susies house till July 8th. So far my trip has been great! The weather has been very warm and muggy but no rain! I've gone to an old folk village, a gorgeous palace, and several open air markets here. The markets here are crazy! They sell lots of clothing and goods and sometimes fresh fish. It's pretty crowded here and people don't think it's at all rude to push and shove you out of their way. There's also lots of men on scooters weaving in and out of crowds and driving at suicidal speeds! I almost got ran over several times!

Korea makes for an interesting trasition to India. I know however crazy or dirty thinkgs seem here they will be ten times worse in India!

Well my friend is here to pick me up now. I gotta go! More later...

Audrey,
So good to get your email. Laura and I were in Korea so many hundreds of years ago, but it sounds almost exactly how you are describing it now. Keep us updated. I'll share your blog site at church and on my blog - www.lhcportland.blogspot.com
